They get the drawings of all parts and assemblies to be manufactured in DXF, as they do not have a DWG reader to extract the geometric data.

As for not creating step files for the assembly files, that is an intended feature but we will look at adding an option to also include assembly files. We have had some issues with the app not finding existing drawings. Any idea why this is happening?

Check back for updates in the next few weeks. The add-in does exactly what it says it does. My only problem is that our file structure is not optimal for the way this add-in searches for files, and it takes upwards of 6 minutes to find 12 drawings in a specific case! Other than that, I love it. The only option missing on this is the ability to add a suffix or prefix to the file name on the PDFs. This is almost exactly what I've been looking for. I was able to export both pdf and stp files from a large assembly, although not in the same export.
I had to do 2d and 3d in a separate step. I also need to export. Any change those options can be included?? Very nice app! Thank you. Print to PDF works fine. But printing to DWG makes Inventor to crash. I'm using Inventor on Windows 7 win When using it on a assembly of about 30 parts, it takes ages gathering all the parts.
